Protect what you love: Our speakers and guests have demonstrated once again how important it is to protect what we love. Only if we put the brakes on the climate crisis and do everything in our power to promote a living democracy will we be able to provide a planet worth living on for future generations.

After the motivating talks, there was, once again, plenty of time for exchanging ideas and networking over food and drinks. Many new contacts were made and courage was built. This mixture is exactly what the EARTHtalks are all about!

WHAT ARE THE EARTHTALKS?
The EARTHtalks are an information and networking initative born out of civil society. The event brings together NGOs, social entrepreneurs, public institutions and interested members of the public and engages them in dialogue with national and international guest-speakers from the scientific community, environmental NGOs, politicians and civil society. During the EARTHtalks' main event our speakers talk on environmentally and socially relevant developments in science, activism, art, culture and politics and provide the motivation to act. After the talks everyones invited to the networking part and the organic buffet. The patron of the EARTHtalks is Federal President, Alexander Van der Bellen.

GOALS OF THE EARTHTALKS
NETWORKING between the interested public, NGOs, business and public institutions.
INFORMING the public about current ecological and social issues.
COMMUNICATING eco-social projects, ideas and initiatives.
INSPIRING ACTION and providing the motivation to act.

WHO ORGANIZES THE EARTHTALKS?
The EARTHtalks have taken place in Vienna annually since 2008 and are organised by NEONGREEN NETWORK, a charity founded by the viennese graphic-designer Angie Rattay.
